2010 Budget Includes $110 Million For E-Verify

The Obama administration has requested $110 million to continue expanding the E-Verify system which is an electronic employment eligibility verification system.  E-Verify helps U.S. employers comply with immigration law and ensures that U.S. jobs are available to U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the United States.

The Office of Management and Budget released the president’s budget, titled “ A New Era of Responsibility.”
