Federal Criminal Record Searches:
Searches the Federal District within the state for crimes against the United States. Crimes uncovered include bank robbery, tax evasion, Internet crimes, or mail fraud. A state may have more than one Federal District Court.
National Criminal Record Database Searches:
The National Criminal Record Database Search is a database compiled from more than 300 million criminal records from counties, Department of Corrections, Administration of the Court and state sex offender registries covering 49 states and Washington DC, Guam and Puerto Rico. Some employment background screening firms sell “national criminal records databases” to employers without appropriate safeguards to ensure that the information they are delivering is accurate and up to date. We believe that criminal records databases are valuable sources of information if they are used in a responsible manner. If records are found with this database, we will verify the information directly with the reporting jurisdiction, as required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. This ensures that employers make decisions based on accurate and up-to-date information.
Sex Offender Registry Searches:
Provide results of State’s registered sex offenders. Search by state or nationwide.
